City Interactive has today announced the first-person shooter Enemy front, based on the CryEngine third The title is developed by the City Studios in England and Poland and will appear together in 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and PC. Lead designer on Enemy front is Stuart Black, who has been with the genre very much experience.
Enemy front tells the story of an experienced soldier who is running behind the lines of the Nazis, a variety of missions. These range from short firefights over spy orders to sabotage. The story of Enemy front leads over several years at major theaters of World War II, from the trenches of France devastated by battles in Berlin and finally to a secret weapons plant. There must thwart the plans to be making a terrible weapon, which would mean certain victory for the Nazis.
“The complex story of Enemy attacks front setting numerous historical events of the Second World War, as the events at the Wolf’s Lair, or deciphering the Enigma code,” said City Interactive in the press release. It continues: “The Environmental Damage system of CryEngine 3 ensures diverse, fully destructible levels that are fired by each and every ball thrown grenade can be clearly drawn.”
